What You Can Do with GfK Octopus

GfK Octopus gives you a firm grip on your company's data, across geographies and in a secure environment, by enabling you to:

  • Share and archive documents: GfK Octopus lets you post and share documents such as questionnaires, reports and glossaries using an unlimited number of secure folders and subfolders.
  • See who's who: GfK Octopus allows you to view details about internal colleagues as well as your GfK account team, such as contact information, responsibilities and even a photo and brief biography, if desired.
  • Alert the team: Use the e-mail alerts feature to remind yourself, or notify others about updates to any document library, folder, task, issue, or discussion group. You don't need to be logged on to GfK Octopus to receive the alert—it will be sent directly to your e-mail inbox.
  • Update senior management: With GfK Octopus you can create customizable, user-friendly dashboards that deliver the data senior managers demand—including key performance indicators and other business-critical information—all in a user-friendly, executive summary format.
  • Announce: Post special announcements and updates you would like specific GfK Octopus viewers to see.
  • Track tasks: Define tasks that can be tracked by status, percent completed, assignment, start date, due date, and other parameters.
  • Highlight issues: Set up a running list of issues to be addressed or resolved, with appropriate notations.
  • Share the calendar: Customize the GfK Octopus calendar to show the events, key dates, project schedules and holidays that users need to see in order to facilitate collaboration both internally and externally.
