New York, NY, December 2, 2009 – Global market research firm, GfK Custom Research North America, has expanded its team of consumer trends experts with the appointments of Toni Shields and June Wallach.
Ms. Shields rejoins the company as Senior Vice President, GfK Roper Public Affairs & Media and GfK Roper Consulting responsible for business development for the company’s divisions focused on public opinion, corporate reputation and consumer trends research. Ms. Shields comes to GfK with a wealth of experience in the consumer trends arena. Most recently she worked as Vice President for market research firm, Global TGI where she was responsible for building client teams and new business. During her career she has also worked for DYG, Inc., RoperASW (now a part of GfK Custom Research North America), Copernicus and BAI.
Ms. Wallach also returns to GfK as Senior Vice President, GfK Roper Consulting responsible for business development focused on the company’s signature consumer trends services including GfK Roper Reports® US and Worldwide, GfK Roper Green Gauge® and the GfK Roper Youth Report®. Before taking up her new role, she worked for The Nielsen Company as Vice President, Marketing, where she was responsible for the overall development of marketing communications and branding initiatives. Prior to that, Ms. Wallach held leadership positions at various market research companies including RoperASW, Roper Starch Worldwide and International Data Corporation.
