GfK Custom Research North America Promotes Thomas J. Finkle to Chief Client Services Officer

NEW YORK, February 14, 2008 -- GfK Custom Research North America announced today the promotion of Thomas J. Finkle to Chief Client Services Officer, a newly created position. In his new role, Finkle will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategic direction and he will also oversee the Sector and Practice Area leaders as they continue to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.

Finkle has been with GfK since June, 2005 and most recently held the position of Group Managing Director, GfK Financial Services and GfK Technology.  Prior to that, he served as President of GfK NOP Research and Consulting.

Finkle has significant experience in the market research industry with a focus on building global business and managing teams.  Before joining GfK, he was Managing Director of the Global Information Technology practice for Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. His experience also includes eight years with Goldfarb Consultants as Managing Director of the New York office, where he built practices in Consumer Packaged Goods, Energy, Financial Services and Information Technology.  Thomas holds an MA and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California.
