Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This is an entry level position responsible for assisting the project team through all research phases for assigned Financial Services clients.  The ideal candidate will take responsibility for routine administrative and clerical support tasks including reporting preparation and editing, verifying data, producing documents, and communicating with internal stakeholders on a variety of project-related topics.  Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the project team throughout research projects, from design to report analysis and production.
  • Ensure quality of data.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the study findings to the client.
  • Create and modify Excel spreadsheets (for example, pivot tables).
  • Create graphic presentations of data.
  • Edit questionnaire/survey items.
  • Monitor data collection procedures/instruments.
  • Enter data into databases and statistical programs and export into tables and other displays.
  • Monitor study performance in terms of schedule, quality and costs.

Experience & Skill Responsibilities:

  • 0 – 1 year experience in market research.   Knowledge of financial services industry and/or specialized research techniques a plus.
  • Aptitude for solving qualitative and quantitative problems. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or assignments simultaneously. 
  • Ability to work effectively with management and research staff and operations staff in a team environment.
  • Effective and concise written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:

BA/BS degree
