Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Vice President, Account Management/Development will take responsibility for the sales and marketing to an existing prospect list, as well as developing increased business from current clients through strategic business wins, targeting new business and development of existing accounts.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain prospect line.
  • Identify opportunities to "upsell” and develop follow-on business to new and existing clients.
  • Manage client relationships from initial enquiry through final negotiation.
  • Develop strong network of contacts in order to deliver revenue.
  • Coordinate delivery of purchased services to the client.
  • Coach and support other team members.

Experience & Skill Responsibilities:

  • 8 to 10 years related work experience in Technology and/or Telecommunications research with a minimum of 6 years experience on the supplier side.
  • Ability to recognize and identify client needs by developing approaches to exceed expectation while ensuring all requests and projects follow through to completion.
  • Focus on knowledge sharing, co-operation and support to create integrated solutions for the client.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships in a matrix organization.
  • Takes full ownership for his/her business by managing business pipeline and targets.
  • Desire to challenge the status quo in order to meet team goals.

Education:

BA/BS in Marketing, Social Sciences, or equivalent; MS desirable.
