Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position manages the design, development and implementation of the compensation component of total rewards programs for the Company, including base, variable and long-term incentive. Consults with senior management in setting the strategic direction of compensation programs that support the business. Works with cross-functional peers to continually improve the processes, workflow and systems. Manages HRIS for the North American workforce.
Experience & Skill Responsibilities:
Solid experience in conducting assessments of company performance in relation to compensation systems and modeling plan designs and metrics to optimize the link between motivation and rewards.
Consult with business leaders and human resource generalists to maximize efficiency of compensation design and delivery to satisfy the needs of the business.
Develop and implement a two-year strategy to align salaries within the Company to a market competitive position.
Ability to produce superior written and oral presentations of data, analysis and business information which enables effective decision making by company executives.
Conduct annual compensation review process. This includes bonus review, base salary review and the promotion process.
Maintain job descriptions while ensuring FLSA compliance.
Draft all compensation related communications to be sent by the incumbent or Chief Human Resources Officer depending on the nature of the communication.
Manage the capabilities of HRIS provided by ADP. Serve as back up to HRIS area for report generation, information input and payroll liaison.
Experience must include responsibility for the strategic development, management and implementation of base, variable and non-cash programs.
Comprehensive knowledge of sales compensation design and executive compensation program administration. Should be familiar with broad bands and competency-based pay structures.
Knowledge of and experience with data management and reporting capabilities of HRIS and payroll systems. Strong analytical skills and systems expertise required. Data manipulation in Excel, ADP Enterprise and Citrix.
Comprehensive knowledge of compensation theory and practice.
Proven ability to manage entire projects end to end, with multiple parallel activities.
Demonstrated ability to manage people, work successfully in a team and across functions.
Ability to effectively communicate and partner with the senior level in the company. Must possess excellent writing skills.
Education:
8+ years experience as an HR compensation professional in a global environment.
5+ years in the consulting industry preferred
Master’s degree preferred
