Position Summary:

The Roper Public Affairs & Media practice of GfK Custom Research North America, a premier global research firm, has an outstanding opportunity for an entry to mid-level project manager in our New York, NY office. In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of client relations for projects in conjunction with the Account Executive. This includes project design, query handling (internal and external) and overall client satisfaction. Excellent quantitative and writing skills are a prerequisite for the successful candidate.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of project direction including study design, questionnaire design, project management, analysis, and client reporting
  • Report writing and preparation of presentations
  • Liaising with and checking output from all internal operational departments
  • Significant client contact

Experience and Skills:

  • BA, BS is required. A strong liberal arts background in Sociology, Communications, Market Research, or Public Policy is preferred.
  • 2 – 4 years experience in market or survey research preferred; less for recent graduates
  • Questionnaire design, quantitative survey methods, sampling methods
  • Proven strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
