Position Summary:

Entry to mid-level project management position to support Roper Consulting products including content and execution.  This is a traditional research associate / manager role involved in all aspects of projects including questionnaire development, sample/ weighting design, data collection in multiple modes, data delivery, analysis, and report writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage questionnaire design for RRUS and RRW including ongoing maintenance of question archives for all product
  • Work with research directors in developing and implementing sample plans
  • Work with research directors in developing, implementing, and checking weighting plans
  • Day-to-day management of research projects. Monitor study performance in terms of schedule, quality and costs.
  • Work with research directors to develop specifications for data processing and tabulation.
  • Clean and check survey data, manage table checking through the outsource team, responsible for delivering clean data to research directors for client delivery systems
  • Support Editorial and client servicing staff with PR efforts both internal and external

Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of market research processes including sample design, data collection and data tabulation.  Statistical analysis and online survey research experience a plus
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; easily learns new software applications; SPSS and project management software experience a plus
  • Willing to try new things; easily adapts to change
  • Proactive problem solver; actively seeks and suggests solutions
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and multiple projects
  • Good communication skills
  • BA/BS or higher
