Our ideal candidate is a research professional who possesses extensive experience conducting qualitative research.  Specifically experienced at research design consultation, project management, interviewing/moderating, analysis, report writing and presentation skills. 

The person for this role must be self-motivated and exhibit a service oriented attitude towards internal/external clients. In this role, you will: 

  • Write discussion guides to capture key research objectives
  • Design and write high-quality research to meet client and study objectives, and prepare insightful qualitative research reports that meet study objectives
  • Work with sales people on the phone/sales calls with clients in the prospect/proposal phase to learn client issues, design qualitative proposals and help win new business
  • Provide business development support
  • Travel extensively (~30%)
  • Provide mentorship to peers
  • Develop positive working relationships with the Qualitative Team and research and marketing clients

Experience & Skill Responsibilities:

  • Past experience in moderating qualitative research, interviewing, and strong creative/qualitative writing skills
  • Vendor-side experience and industry expertise in financial markets, technology, retail and/or CPG
  • Exceptional internal and external client service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a plus
  • Team player who is able to jump in and support others in order to get the job done
  • Problem-solver who can assess and suggest and implement solutions if obstacles arise during projects
  • Must demonstrate a calm, knowledgeable and firm demeanor at all times
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Education:

BA/BS in marketing, communications, liberal arts program and 8 years of market research experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
