The Senior Vice President, Customer Loyalty is a senior research professional with broad and deep research experience, particularly in Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty, responsible for thought leadership and continued development of intellectual capital in Customer Experience management.  This role involves participation in senior client relationships and practical application of insights to help implement change in our client organizations.  The Senior Vice President plays a critical role for the organization as a senior level client contact and senior research and consulting expert in Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty.  You will be expected to support  a significant volume of client research business.  The Senior Vice President is highly visible and will represent the GfK brand to the outside world through speaking and publishing.  This position is responsible for delivering exceptional thinking and service on projects in order to create significant impact on the client’s business. The Senior Vice President is integral to the consulting & implementation process in our client engagements.

  • Demonstrates depth of knowledge of Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty measurement and how research findings can be put to practical use in client organizations.  Understanding of research programs ROI.
  • Demonstrates practical experience with change management; implementing changes in client organizations based on our recommendations and insights.  Desire to ‘roll up sleeves’ and be part of action planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrates ability to be subject matter expert, respected intellectually both internally and with clients.
  • Builds strong collaborative partnerships with Loyalty leadership, client service team members and internal subject matter experts.
  • Exhibits exceptional communication skills, ability to describe complex solutions in an easy to understand manner.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and leadership.
  • Has experience in publishing and speaking engagements demonstrating thought leadership in Customer Experience management
  • Demonstrates broad research expertise and experience.
  • Inspires confidence and trust with senior level executives at client organizations.
  • Can help in developing compelling proposals/presentations that demonstrate outstanding research design to meet client needs within applicable constraints.
  • Demonstrates excellent strategic skills in reviewing client research reports, and helping with final summaries and conclusions for client research projects.

Experience & Skill Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 15 years related work experience marketing research or equivalent combination of education and experience, experience with Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty required.
  • Must have hands-on experience and extensive ability in design, execution and analysis of a broad range of research techniques.
  • Must be able to work directly with experienced researchers as clients
  • Must have history of publishing and speaking
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
  • Must possess the ability and experience to coach and develop a group of people with varying jobs and skill levels.
  • Must be able to manage a large workload efficiently and in a quality manner.

Education:

MS, PhD desirable
