The position will be located in either the Southfield, Michigan office or the Irvine, California office of GfK Automotive. We are seeking a positive, team-oriented Research Director to oversee the development efforts for new products and revisions to existing products, and to integrate GfK corporate (North America and Worldwide) products within the GfK Automotive organization. This position reports to the VP of Product/Business Development.
A GfK Roper Consultant is responsible for managing client accounts, providing strategic consulting services, presenting client analytical reports, managing and mentoring analysts, as well as supporting business development initiatives.
This individual would be responsible for designing research studies, developing and pricing proposals, overseeing the execution of automotive product clinics, qualitative and quantitative research projects, and providing consulting services and analytical insight and recommendations to the end client. The position will require flexibility to travel for project related work, but also requires travel between the Gardena and Irvine offices of GfK Automotive as well as to/from client locations and project sites in support of client projects as needed.
